After 13 years together, Erin & Nick became husband and wife! They are sweet, fun and completely laid back. I met these two last spring to photograph their engagement session, while I was out traveling in Colorado. Their session took place in the lively Breckenridge, where we walked, explored, and took some stunning photos in the picturesque Rocky Mountains. A few months after their engagement session, Erin reached out and invited me to capture their upcoming wedding, to be held in their hometown of La Crosse. I quickly, and excitedly agreed!

On the day of the autumn wedding, a small, intimate ceremony took place on the rooftop terrace of the Charmant Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel located right downtown along the Mississippi River. The ceremony was short and sweet, and was followed by a champagne toast made by Nick, thanking their family and friends for making the trek to La Crosse from all over the country. Once the hugs and congratulatory clinks of champagne glasses were made, the newlyweds and I walked downtown La Crosse and took pictures as we strolled along, and even made an obligatory stop at The Starlite Lounge for a martini 😉

The reception was held at The Court Above Main, a newly renovated historic building located in the heart of the city. Its tall ceilings, wooden floors, and glass chandeliers, were the perfect touch of elegance that complimented their romantic rooftop ceremony. Guests snacked on delicious hors d’oeuvres and drank speciality drinks favored and picked out by the bride and groom themselves. It was an elegant, yet laid back evening, with the main focus of being surrounded by the people they love most. Thank you for inviting me be a part of your day!
