Cozumel, Mexico 2015

Another amazing trip to Cozumel, Mexico, to add into the books. I didn’t think a place could be more beautiful the second visit, but it proved me wrong!

Yet again, it was a 7 day trip exploring the small island, eating at small local eatery’s and swimming in the most crystal blue water. The sea was much more calm this time around, so we were able to go snorkeling! I was even able to take with me my Go Pro (my absolute favorite gadget that I ever invested in) to get a few underwater pictures and videos of our exploit.

Take a look at my latest adventure:

Our place of accommodation was the best – a spacious and colorful 4 bedroom home with 3 floors, a beautiful backyard with a pool, and an open rooftop with hammocks to relax in. (Thank you Paul & Lori!)

Snorkeling took place off the reefs of Cantamar Condos and Playa Corona. If you’re planning a trip to Cozumel and are wanting to do some snorkeling – I definitely suggest checking out these two places!

As told in my previous post of Cozumel, here is our favorite restaurant/bar (Coconuts) on the east side of the island. Fun and friendly staff, gorgeous views from up above on the cliff, and not to mention the cutest pup named Margarita lives here!

On Nick and I’s last day on the island, we rented a car from Isis Car Rental so we could travel all around Cozumel. If you’re looking for the cheapest way of renting a vehicle, this is the place to go. It is not located on airport grounds, but instead in town, so you will need to take a taxi from the airport to pick up your car.

Until next time, Cozumel.

Accomodation: Casa Tropicale, Cantamar Condos // Car Rental: Isis Rent A Car // Restaurants & Bars:  Ernesto’s, The Pub, Bob Marley Bar, Coconuts Bar & Grill, Punta Morena Beach Bar, Guido’s Delicatessen
